Manchester Airport, Based south west of Manchester City centre. Officially opened on 25th June 1938 know as Ringway Airport. In its first 14 months, the airport handles 7,600 passengers – the equivalent of a summer morning’s work today! In 2019 was the third busiest airport in the UK in the terms of passenger numbers traveling through. The airport comprises three passenger terminals and one cargo terminal and has flights to 199 destinations, placing the airport thirteenth globally for total destinations served.
